School Support Services
Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Associate Certified Behavior Analysts (BCaBAs) can assist in classroom situations as well. Many of our therapists have backgrounds in teaching and understand the difficult roles teachers are put in when educating a class of up to 25 elementary students when one child has significant problem behaviors. We are happy to assist in these situations for the individual suffering as well as the rest of the classroom. Individual behavior plans can be developed to support the child within the Least Restrictive Environments (LRE) possible, while supporting the teacher in their effort to educate a classroom full of students. All programming can be tailored to meet current IEP goals, or to assist in developing new IEP goals. Our ultimate goal is to give that initial support needed to make a positive and reinforcing environment for everyone and then fade out so that the natural structure of the classroom with the additional supports can create a successful learning environment for the individual student. All school support services are individualized to meet the needs of the child within their current classroom situation.
